Who we are
Selly Oak Blinds is a trading name of BlindsNation Ltd, Unit 1 Premier Trading Estate, Dartmouth Middleway, Birmingham B7 4AT. BlindsNation Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, email, mobile and optional second phone number, address, postcode, the blinds you are interested in, the number of windows, any notes, and your chosen appointment. We also record the page you booked from and campaign tags (such as utm parameters or a Google click ID) that were in the link you arrived from.
How we use it
To arrange, confirm and carry out your free measure, to send booking confirmations and reminders by email and text message, to prepare your quote, and to understand which pages and campaigns lead to bookings. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Messages
We send appointment emails and text messages relating to your booking. We do not send marketing messages without separate consent.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 only if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you reject, no analytics script is loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Campaign tags are held in your browser for the current visit only.
Sharing
We use service providers for hosting, email and text message delivery. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing info@blindsnation.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
